Welcome to the West Coast Baptist College family. For more than two decades, God has allowed us to partner with parents and churches all around the world to train laborers for the harvest. We're not a perfect institution, but our qualified faculty and staff are dedicated to developing leaders with a heart for God who are committed to the Word, compassionate toward the lost, and compelled to change communities for Christ in the twenty-first century. In short, we're training laborers for the harvest, and we cannot wait to invest in you.
√ Celebrate this awesome achievement! | You've worked for nearly twenty years to get where you are. Take a moment to thank God and those who supported you to this point. You and they deserve to celebrate!

√ Obtain Your I-20 and F-1 Visa (International Students Only) | The US Department of State establishes all F-1 visa requirements and issues these visas at its own discretion. WCBC gathers various paperwork and documentation and issues the I-20 as part of this process. √ Check Your WCBC Email | Your student email account will become a vital resource for your success before and during your time at WCBC. Once you have confirmed your intent to enroll by paying your deposit, your Admissions Guide will ensure your new @students.wcbc.edu email address is created. Once you get this information, be sure to add this new account to your phone so that you don't miss any important updates.
√ Meet with Your Academic Advisor | Now that you have your shiny new WCBC account, it's time to start preparing for your classes. Your Admissions Guide will help to facilitate a 1:1 meeting with your Academic Advisor who will get to know you and help to guide you through finalizing your degree program, understanding some trips and tricks about your new accounts, and establishing a class load that is built around your purpose and goals. Your Admissions Guide will help to facilitate this step once you have paid your deposit.
You may have already earned college credits and be hoping to transfer those into your WCBC degree program. We'll be glad to evaluate your transcripts against your declared major/minor to see how it will all fit together. You can request a credit transfer evaluation here.
√ Register for Classes | Once you have confirmed your enrollment and taken your assessments, you can register for classes (assuming class registration is open). After your initial meeting, your Academic Advisor will put together a proposed class schedule personalized just for you and schedule a second meeting to review and finalize this schedule. Once you (and your parents) feel settled, your advisor will get you officially registered. As always, your Admissions Guide will stay in touch with your progress and help along the way.
√ Review your WAE Week Schedule | The first week of every semester is an exciting time as our new and returning students meet one another, move into their dorms, start classes, enjoy plenty of activities, and settle into the new semester. We call this WAE Week (because we are eagles). You and your family should take some time to review the schedule for this special week. Some events are specifically for parent and guardians, returning students, and/or new students and some are for everyone together. Before you settle your plans for this week, you'll want to make sure you know just what these days will include. Check back here soon to see our WAE Week Schedule.
√ Submit a Room Request | The staff who serve in the Office of the Dean of Students invest a great deal of time and effort praying through and working on room arrangements. While we cannot guarantee that you will be with that particular friend or in that specific dorm room, we do welcome your request. Once you have your WCBC Student ID, you can click here to submit a room request. This option is available until August 1.
√ Register for An Airport Shuttle | One of the many services provided to students by the Office of Financial Aid is our Shuttle Services. While you'll normally use these shuttles for rides to and from job interviews and work, the team also provides transportation to and from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) for minimal cost. As a first-time student, you and your parents may ride these airport shuttles as our guests at no charge. Once you have your flight information, visit the shuttle services webpage to register for your pick up and/or return. You should have received a coupon code in your student email that will waive this shuttle cost. If you have any trouble with it, contact your Admissions Guide.
√ Pack Your Bags | You've done a lot of hard work to get ready for college, and it's almost time to head to Lancaster! Our Office of Student Advocacy and our Admissions team work together to prepare a New Student Guide for each fall semester. In it, you'll find a packing checklist, general clothing guidelines, this year's WAE Week Eagle Excellence Challenge, a campus map, a whole section of WCBC lingo, and some helpful links and summary info on your various student accounts.
